The Spike Trap is a plate covered in metal spikes that can rise and fall at set times.
By default, the Spike-Traps are set to rise when the player touches them, and lower the player's health by 50%. Both of these settings can be changed in the properties menu.
- Often, these will be used to get players to make quick jumps and to avoid getting caught by the deadly spikes.
- Using the properties menu, you can easily build a large amount of Spike-Traps with different automatic delay times to build a timing challenge gameplay, forcing the player to study the pattern of these traps and then have to execute it properly.
