Hero was the internal prototype playable character for Atmosphir. He was later replaced by Cameron. When playing as Hero you could not hang on to ledges until a later prototype. In the first playable prototype Hero was red. There were three levels which were mentioned by Dave Werner as "impossible". In a later prototype, you could change the colour of Hero. At the time there were no enemies, so Hero probably had no way to attack.
